Salary Overview

Available to: Owner only

The Salaries page gives you a monthly payroll overview. It shows what each employee earned, what it costs you, and how hours translate into money.

Layout

At the top, you see summary cards:

  • Monthly Gross Costs -- total gross salary costs for the month
  • Monthly Net Payout -- total net amount to be paid out
  • Total Costs -- total employer costs (including social contributions, etc.)
  • Total Revenue Bonus -- bonus distributed from the revenue-based bonus system

Below that, the per-employee table shows detailed breakdowns.

Per-employee table

Each row in the salary table shows:

  • Employee name
  • Worked Hours -- actual hours from time records
  • Target Hours -- expected hours based on their contract
  • Gross Salary -- total gross pay for the month
  • Net Salary -- net amount after deductions
  • Net/Hour -- for hourly employees: the configured hourly rate. For fixed-salary employees: net salary divided by target hours.
  • Costs -- total employer cost for this employee
  • Revenue Bonus -- their share of the revenue-based bonus (if applicable)
  • Individual Bonus -- any additional individual bonus
  • Last Raise -- date of the employee's most recent salary increase
  • Edit -- button to update salary details

How salary is calculated

Hourly employees

Net salary = Hourly rate x (Actual worked hours + Paid leave hours)

If an employee is paid by the hour, their monthly salary reflects how many hours they worked plus any paid leave credits. Paid leave days (vacation, sick leave) are credited at the employee's normal daily rate, so approved paid leave does not reduce their pay.

Fixed salary employees

Net salary = Fixed monthly amount

Fixed-salary employees receive the same amount each month regardless of hours worked. Their contract specifies the monthly amount.

Max monthly cap

If an employee has a maximum monthly cap set, their salary will not exceed that amount even if they worked extra hours.

Editing salary details

  1. Click the Edit button on an employee's row
  2. A modal opens with editable fields:
    • Gross Salary -- update the gross amount
    • Costs -- update the employer cost figure
    • Last Raise -- set the date of the most recent raise
  3. Click Save

Use the month navigation at the top to move between months. Each month shows the payroll data for that specific period.

Practical use

The Salaries page is designed for monthly accounting. A typical workflow:

  1. Make sure all time records for the month are complete (check Time Tracking)
  2. Open the Salaries page for that month
  3. Review the numbers -- do worked hours match expectations?
  4. Check for anomalies (unusually high or low hours)
  5. Export or note the figures for your payroll system

Tip: Always finalize time tracking before reviewing salaries. Incomplete time records mean the salary calculations will be off.

Bonus integration

If you have the revenue-based bonus system configured, each employee's bonus share appears in the Revenue Bonus column. See Bonus System for setup details.
