Flincs uses a sidebar on the left side of the screen. Everything you need is there, organized into sections.

Dashboard

Your home screen. Shows employee count, current week, overtime balances, and this week's shifts. Everyone sees this.

Planning

This is where the day-to-day work happens.

  • Employees -- Add, edit, and manage your team. (Owner and Admin only)
  • Schedule -- Build and view weekly or monthly schedules. (Everyone)
  • Time Tracking -- Record and review actual worked hours. (Owner, Admin, and Manager)
  • Leave Requests -- Handle vacation, sick leave, and other absences. (Owner and Admin only)

Finance

Money stuff. Owner only.

  • Salaries -- Monthly payroll overview with gross/net calculations
  • Bonus -- Revenue-based bonus distribution

Settings

Configuration options for your organization.

  • Shift Rules -- Define labor law limits, open days, and shift requirements. (Owner and Admin)
  • Appearance -- Company name, logo, colors, and language. (Owner and Admin)
  • Month Close -- Reset overtime balances up to a specific date. (Owner and Admin)

Administration

  • Users -- Invite new users and assign roles. (Owner only)

Switching views

Several pages offer multiple views:

  • Schedule has a List View (week-by-week) and a Calendar View (monthly grid)
  • Time Tracking has a Table View and a Calendar View

Use the toggle or tabs at the top of those pages to switch between them.

Quick navigation tips

  • The sidebar stays visible on desktop. On mobile, it collapses into a hamburger menu.
  • The active page is highlighted in the sidebar so you always know where you are.
  • Use the week navigation arrows (left/right) on the Schedule and Time Tracking pages to move between weeks.

Tip: If you only see a few items in the sidebar, your role may not have access to everything. Check Roles and Permissions to understand what each role can see.
